Jill and Josh came over to my studio almost three years ago to document their first pregnancy. Less than a week later (four weeks early) Emma was born. We followed up with beautiful fine-art infant portraits of her.

Emma is a big girl now and has a little sister on the way. This time we did family portraits, maternity and some individuals of Emma and I have a special series specifically for this time in people's lives called, "Belly Before Baby After." Here are my favorites.

Krista and Matt had a winter wedding two years ago in Duluth. Recently she contacted me about doing maternity portraits out at their home in Scandia. Its always such an incredible compliment when my clients come back and invite me to continue photographing their family milestones. Its honestly one of the greatest rewards of what I do. I have always been naturally drawn to documenting the relationships between people and families. So to be allowed to continue documenting the same people with new life changes really starts getting into a deeper level of photographic art for me and I cherish the opportunity.
